Restore Your Aircon's Cooling Power. Fix Leaks for Lasting Results. If your aircon is running but not cooling well, low refrigerant gas could be the culprit. Unlike fuel, aircon gas doesn't "run out" from normal use—if it's low, there's usually a leak. We detect leaks, repair them, and top up your refrigerant to restore proper cooling performance.
Refrigerant is the lifeblood of your air conditioning system — it absorbs heat from your room, carries it to the outdoor unit, and releases it outside. Refrigerant circulates in a sealed, closed loop and does not get "used up" during normal operation. If the gas level in your aircon is low, there is almost always a leak somewhere in the system — in the evaporator coil, condenser coil, copper piping joints, or service valves. Simply topping up gas without finding and fixing the leak is a temporary solution at best. The gas will escape again over weeks or months, leaving you with the same weak cooling problem and repeated top-up costs. That is why our aircon gas top-up service in Singapore always begins with leak detection. We check the system for leaks using visual inspection of joints and connections, soap bubble testing on suspected areas, and electronic refrigerant leak detectors for hard-to-find micro-leaks. Once the leak is found and repaired — by re-brazing joints, replacing damaged pipe sections, or tightening service valves — we vacuum the system to remove air and moisture, then charge the correct amount of refrigerant per the manufacturer specifications. We handle all common refrigerant types found in Singapore homes. R32 is the current standard for new aircon units — it has a 75 percent lower global warming potential than R410A and is more energy-efficient, reducing electricity consumption by up to 10 percent. R410A is the most common refrigerant in units installed between the mid-2000s and early 2020s — it does not deplete the ozone layer but has a higher global warming potential than R32. R22 (Freon) is found in older systems installed before the mid-2000s and is being phased out globally under the Kigali Amendment due to its ozone-depleting properties. R22 supply is limited in Singapore and increasingly expensive. Our technicians carry gas for all three types and can advise whether a top-up, leak repair, or system upgrade to a newer R32 unit makes the most sense for your situation and budget.

From your first message to a job well done — in 4 simple steps
WhatsApp or call us — describe the issue or book a routine servicing appointment.
Our technician checks your aircon system, identifies the issue, and explains the best solution.
We clean, wash, repair, or top up gas — using the right approach for your specific problem.
We verify cooling performance, check for leaks, and ensure your aircon runs efficiently.
Proper diagnosis, leak detection and repair, system vacuum, and precise refrigerant charging for lasting cooling performance.
We locate refrigerant leaks using visual inspection, soap bubble testing, and electronic detectors before any top-up—because adding gas without fixing the leak is wasteful.
We repair the leak before adding gas—re-brazing joints, patching small holes, or replacing damaged pipe sections for a lasting fix rather than a temporary patch.
We top up with the correct refrigerant type (R32, R410A, or R22) and the right amount per manufacturer specifications. Using the wrong type can damage your system.
Ideally, never. If your system is properly sealed, gas level stays constant for the aircon's lifetime. Needing top-up means there's a leak.
You can, but it's wasteful and expensive in the long run—the gas will escape again over weeks or months. Fixing the leak first, then topping up, gives lasting results and saves you from repeated top-up costs.
Check the sticker on your outdoor unit—it states the refrigerant type. Or tell us your aircon model and we'll verify.
It requires proper equipment and knowledge. DIY attempts can damage your system or cause injury. Always use professionals.
R22 is being phased out globally under the Kigali Amendment due to its ozone-depleting properties. Supply is limited and increasingly expensive in Singapore. If your R22 unit needs major repairs or gas top-up, consider replacing it with a newer R32 unit which is more energy-efficient and uses an environmentally friendlier refrigerant. The long-term savings on electricity and maintenance often justify the switch.
R22 (Freon) was the standard refrigerant for decades but is being phased out due to its ozone-depleting properties. It is found in aircon units installed before the mid-2000s. Supply is limited and top-up costs are high. R410A replaced R22 as the industry standard from the mid-2000s to early 2020s. It does not deplete the ozone layer but has a high global warming potential. Most existing aircon units in Singapore homes use R410A. R32 is the current standard for new units. It has a 75% lower global warming potential than R410A, is more energy-efficient (reducing electricity bills by up to 10%), and requires less refrigerant per unit. If your aircon uses R22, upgrading to a new R32 system is recommended. R410A systems are still fully supported and do not need replacement.
General Servicing
Regular aircon servicing keeps your unit efficient and extends its lifespan. We clean filters, check gas levels, and inspect all components thoroughly.
Repair & Troubleshooting
Aircon not cold? Making strange noises? Water leaking? Our technicians diagnose and fix all aircon problems quickly to restore your comfort.
Chemical Wash & Overhaul
Deep cleaning for aircon units that have not been serviced in a long time. Chemical wash removes stubborn dirt, mold, and bacteria for better cooling and air quality.
Installation & Replacement
New aircon installation or replacing an old unit? We handle the full process from unit selection advice to professional installation and disposal of old units.
